「樹木医学研究」投稿規定

樹木医学研究（英名　Tree and Forest Health）は，和文および英文による研究論文のほか，樹木医学に関する記事，会員相互の交流を図るためのニュースなどを掲載する．英文原稿については，別に定める「Instructions for Contributors」によるものとする．

  • 1） 筆頭著者および責任著者は会員に限る．投稿にあたっては，すべての著者が投稿に同意しなければならない．
  • 2） 原稿は，報文（論文，短報，臨症事例），総説，解説，記録，その他とする．
    • 論 文：樹木医学に関する研究成果であって，独創的かつ学術的に価値ある結論あるいは事実を含むもの．未発表のものに限る．原稿の長さは，原則として刷り上がり8ページ以内とする．
    • 短 報：予報的または速報的な内容を持ち，論文に準ずるもの．未発表のものに限る．原則として刷り上がり4ページ以内とする．
    • 臨症事例：症状や診断・治療等の事例をとりまとめて考察を行ったもので，今後の樹木医学の発展に資するもの．原則として刷り上がり4ページ以内とする．
    • 総 説：樹木医学の研究・技術動向に関して既往の知見を取りまとめた評論・論説．原則として刷り上がり8ページ以内とする．
    • 解 説：樹木医学に関連する事項について解説したもの．原則として刷り上がり8ページ以内とする．
    • 記 録：学会やシンポジウム，研究集会等の報告・記録．原則として刷り上がり8ページ以内とする．
    • そ の 他：速報（樹木医学会大会における発表内容を取りまとめたもの），ニュース（樹木医学に関連する情報の提供），書評（国内外で最近刊行された樹木医学に関連する書籍・文献の紹介），および学会に対する意見・提案など，会員の参考に資するもの．原則として刷り上がり2ページ以内とする．
  • 3） 原稿の採否は，審査を経て編集委員会が決定する．報文（論文，短報，臨症事例），総説および解説の審査は2名以上の審査者により行う．審査および審査者は非公開とする．
  • 4） 投稿原稿は執筆要領に従って作成し編集部宛に送付する．
  • 5） 著者校正は初校に限り，誤植の訂正にとどめる．
  • 6） 掲載が決定した時点から，記事の著作権は樹木医学会著作権規定に従って樹木医学会に帰属する．
  • 7） 研究の普及を促進するために，プレプリントサーバーに掲載された論文等は投稿を受けつける．ただし，投稿時の表紙にプレプリントサーバーに掲載してあることを記載すること．また，本誌に投稿後はプレプリントサーバー上の当該論文を更新せず，本誌の報文等が掲載された後，著者の責任においてプレプリントサーバーから「樹木医学研究」の報文等の書誌情報を示すこととする．
  • 付　則　本規定は令和5年12月9日より施行する．

Instructions for Contributors

Scope of journal: The Tree and Forest Health publishes papers on all aspects of research and technology related to tree and forest health.

Requirement for contributors: The first author and corresponding author should be members of the Tree Health Research Society, Japan. All authors should have approved the submission of the manuscript for publication.

Types of contribution: Articles published in the journal are classified into following types: Report (Original Article, Short Communication, and Case Report), Review, Interpretive Article, Record, and Others (including Rapid Communication and News). Report and Review should be report of original research which have not been submitted or published elsewhere.

Article lengths: The length of a paper is limited to eight printed pages for Original Article, Review, Interpretive Article and Record, four printed pages for Short Communication and Case Report, and two printed pages for Others.

Decision to publish: The editorial board reserves the right to accept or reject manuscripts for publication. Manuscript of Report and Review is peer reviewed by at least two reviewers.

Language: Manuscript must be written in Japanese or English in accordance with ‘Manuscript Preparation’. Authors whose native language is not English must have their manuscripts checked by a native speaker of English before submission.

Proofs: Authors are responsible for the first galley proofs. Significant alterations to the text, tables and figures are not acceptable at the proof stage.

Copyright transfer: The copyright for papers will be transferred to the Tree Health Research Society, Japan, according to the Copyright Regulations of the Society, when the papers are accepted for publication.

Preprint policyr: The Tree and Forest Health accepts manuscripts for reviewing that have been posted to preprint servers. However, at the time of submission to this journal, authors must inform the journal via a cover letter that the manuscript has been posted to a preprint server. No additional versions of the manuscript may be posted to preprint servers at any time after initial submission. Once the article has been published in its final form on the journal website, the preprint server must link to the article on the journal's website.
